Corrections Policy

Effective Date: June 8, 2026

At The Press of Asia, we are committed to accuracy and transparency. If an error is published, we correct it promptly and openly.

  1. How Corrections Work

Errors are classified into three categories:

Minor Errors: Spelling, grammar, or formatting mistakes that do not affect the meaning of the article. These are corrected silently.

Substantive Errors: Errors that affect facts, figures, names, titles, or quotes. These are corrected in the text, and a correction note is added at the bottom of the article with a timestamp.

Significant Errors: Major factual errors that change the context or meaning of the story. These are corrected with a prominent note and may include a revised headline or retraction.

  1. How to Report an Error

If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us:

Email: [Your corrections email]

Include the article URL, the error you found, and any supporting evidence or source.

  1. Response Time

We review all correction requests within 48 hours and respond accordingly. Valid corrections are made immediately, and the correction note is added at the end of the article.

  1. Editorial Accountability

All corrections are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. A log of all corrections is maintained for internal reference and reader transparency.

  1. Updates

When an article is updated with new information, the update is noted with a timestamp. Updates that change the substance of the story include a brief explanation at the bottom of the article.
