Brazil Heads to an October 25 Runoff as Flávio Bolsonaro Edges Lula 47% to 45% in the First Round
Senator Flávio Bolsonaro finished narrowly ahead of President Lula in the first round of Brazil’s presidential election, 47.04% to 45.15% with almost all votes counted. Neither crossed 50%, so the two meet again in a runoff on October 25.
